Bird stuffs
We added 2 new members to our household. A female eclectus named Rosie, she is a behavior plucker and has basically a red head and down in other places but we love her anyways. She is currently a mom's girl.
We very recently added Bert a 25 year old yellow-naped Amazon. He is a HUGE talker and lets you know it. His antics and conversations are hilarious.
Both were owner rehomes that we were able to provide with a life time home. We do take in owner surrenders; cockatoos with the stipulation that we will be finding them a new home that is thoroughly screened. I am allergic to cockatoos but we have found homes for 3 in the 2 years with members of our bird group.
